Real estate developer Godrej Properties has emerged as the highest bidder a 6.-acre group housing plot in Noida with a winning bid of Rs 506 crore, according to an official from the Noida Authority speaking to Moneycontrol. This Mumbai-based developer is set to create residential group housing on the plot situated in Noida Sector 44, which was auctioned online by the Noida Authority in December 2023.
“Two developers, namely Godrej Properties and Max Estates, participated in the bidding for the 26,136.55 square meter plot in sector 44. In today’s e-auction on February 26, Godrej Properties secured the tract with the highest bid of Rs 506 crore,” the official shared with Moneycontrol.
The official indicated that the allotment letter will be issued to Godrej Properties soon. The developer is expected to complete the full payment for the land within 90 days from the letter. As of now, there has been no response from Godrej Properties regarding comments on the development.
